Third annual art festival with celebrity artists painter Ric Gendron and printmaker and photographer Carl Richardson demonstrating their unique creative talents. Benefits Freeman High School Art Department. Activities include Freeman students, under the instruction of Danette Garcia, providing live music, featuring piano, voice and instrumental solos; an art show of 2012-2013 student art work, including watercolors, acrylic paintings, linoleum block prints, and plaster carvings being featured on the big screen; the public being invited to participate in creating a large collaborative acrylic painting; demonstrations of arts processes, such as brick-carving, the printing of block prints, including having people make their own prints; sale of original artwork and prints by Harold Balazs, Mel McCuddin and Ken Spiering, as well as extraordinary work by others, including Freeman High School art students; chocolate pudding finger painting for kids of all ages and more; refreshments, food, coffee and beverages.
