Free Quit Tobacco Classes

Panhandle Health District offers the four weekly, one-hour sessions of the American Cancer Society’s Freshstart program. Freshstart includes motivational intervention activities, practical counseling, social support and education about medication and approaches to quitting. Shoshone County classses are Mondays, April 22 and 29 and May 16 and 13 from noon-1 p.m. in the PHD office in Kellogg, 114 Riverside Ave. Kootenai County classes are Tuesdays, April 23 and 30, and May 7 and 14 from 6-7 p.m. in the PHD Hayden office, 8500 N. Atlas Rd. Call To register.
