The film traces the origin of a meal prepared by renowned chefs. The film tracks where the ingredients come from and the impact on local life. Soybeans, the main the food given to pigs, grow mostly in Brazil on huge tracts of land, right next to an indigenous tribe. As a result, their natural habitat changes drastically. The film also shows how a former banker, seeing his dreams come true, but at the cost of the local fishermen, cultivates prawns from the Philippines. Many people in the food industry work hard and try to make a living, mostly without even realizing the long-term impact of this industry to others and the environment. This is a creative documentary that shows how food changes the world. Part of the Food for Thought Film Series sponsored by the Moscow Food Co-op.
