Artist Lecture by Tess Martin

She is a Seattle-based animator who has been making her own short films since 2005. The lecture will be held on April 13 at 5:30 p.m. The animation workshop, open to members of the Spokane community, will take place on April 14 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m., registration recommended for workshop as space is limited. Martin is the recipient of two 4Culture grants, two City of Seattle grants, an Artist Trust GAP grant, and a Puffin Foundation grant in support of her films, which include “Plain Face” (2011), a 10-minute short film that premiered at the Seattle International Film Festival in 2011. Her films have been shown at galleries and festivals worldwide.
