Whitman County Historical Society is sponsoring a presentation about the war and Andersonville Historic Site, Georgia, one of many prisoner of war locations. Eric Leonard, chief of Interpretation at Andersonville NHS will discuss the realities of imprisonment in both Confederate and Union prisons. At Andersonville, Leonard is also in charge of the National Prisoner of War Museum and the Anderson Cemetery.
