Ray “Futureman” Wooten and The Black Mozart Ensemble

Wooten is a five-time Grammy Award-winning musician and composer. He is internationally known as a percussionist/founding member of Bela Fleck and the Flecktones and inventor of the Drumitar. He will be performing with his Black Mozart Ensemble of young virtuoso violinists and cellists. They are celebrating the life and music of Joseph Boulogne, Chevalier de Saint-Georges. Known as the “Black Mozart,” Saint-Georges was a maestro composer, virtuoso, revolutionary and master swordsman during the age of Mozart. Tickets can be purchased at Hoffman Music, 440 W. Sharp Ave.; TicketsWest; or the SFCC Cashiers Office in the SUB, Bldg. 17.
