Woodworking Demonstration

Ashley Harwood will host a pair of free demonstration classes on the fine art of woodturning, the 3,300 year-old art of creating wooden objects, from simple bowls and platters to fine furniture, using a lathe. Demonstration class times are 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., and 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Demonstration classes are open to the public, but class size is limited and advance registration is required. The event is free, and will include pizza, salads and beverages (a $5 donation is suggested to cover costs of the snacks).
