“Speech & Debate”
Feb. 28-March 16. Interplayers presents this funny and provocative play. Surfing on local web sites, a high school student discovers a teacher in a virtual chat room where that teacher ought not to be. In a debate class, the student and his classmates argue whether or not to “out” that teacher’s behavior to the world. Inspired by the Mayor Jim West scandal. Wednesdays through Saturdays at 7:30 p.m., with matinees at 2 p.m. on Sundays (March 3 and 10) and Saturdays (March 9 and 16). Talkbacks with the cast will occur after each Thursday and Saturday evening performance.
