April 1-2, Enter the Robopocalypse, 10 a.m.-3:30 p.m. The time: The future! The place: It’s name has been forgotten. The asteroid Apophis collided with the Earth in 2037 leaving the planet in a post-apocalyptic wasteland. You have two days to learn to build and program robots that can navigate the perils of the post-apocalyptic cityscape to find food for the few remaining people. Can you survive the robopocalypse? For grades 3-5. April 3-4, Zombie Science, 10 a.m.-3:30 p.m. The zombies have taken over and now you need to fight to survive. Science can help you figure out the most useful weapons and tactics for surviving amidst the walking dead. Fight zombies with science and design your own survival compound! For grade 6 and older. April 4-5, Science of Magic, 10 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Magicians can never reveal the secrets behind their tricks. We’re not magicians, we’re scientists. Learn about sleight of hand, misdirection, and the hidden forces of science behind various magic tricks. For grades 3-5.
