The University of Idaho Women’s Center presents their annual V-Day benefit production of Eve Ensler’s celebrated play, which dives into the mystery, humor, pain, power, wisdom, outrage, and excitement buried in women’s experiences. This year’s spotlight monologue focues on the One Billion Rising campaign, which aims to raise education and awareness around the fact that one in three women on the planet - one billion women - will be beaten or raped at some point during their life. The beneficiaries of this performance are Alternatives to Violence of the Palouse (ATVP), the global V-Day Foundation, and the U of I Women’s Center. Shows Feb. 14-16 at 7 p.m. Advance tickets can be obtained at the U of I Women’s Center, Eclectica and BookPeople of Moscow.
