“Welcome Home, Jenny Sutter”

Benefit performance and recently selected to compete at the Kennedy Center/American College Theater Festival in Sacramento, CA, with proceeds benefiting students to participate in the festival. The play was one of 173 submitted to the competition from 51 institutions in the Northwest. Only four were selected for presentation during the festival. The play follows Jenny, a wounded Iraq war veteran drawn to Slab City, a traveler’s oasis in the California desert. With the help of the inhabitants there, Jenny rediscovers what it means to call a place home. Free childcare for ages 4-12. If interested, RSVP to garc2974@vandals.uidaho.edu.
