Valentine’s Wine Dinner
A five-course dinner paired with selections from Three Rivers Winery. Course 1: Scallop croquette with savory dill Choron, fried capers and herbs. Wine Pairing: 2012 Three Rivers Winery Steel Chardonnay; Course 2: French Country Salad, Boursin goat cheese with mushroom Duxelles, rustic crostini, arugula and white truffle vinaigrette. Wine Pairing: 2011 Three Rivers Winery Sauvignon Blanc; Course 3: Beef tenderloin tartar, with fried nest of leeks & brandied cherries. Wine Pairing: 2010 Three Rivers Winery Malbec; Entree: Kobe Latte, coffee rubbed Kobe Sirloin steak, with Cambozola cream and smoked bacon winter hash. Wine Pairing: 2012 Three Rivers Winery “River’s Red”; Dessert: Pear-a-dice, Pear and pineapple melange wrapped in a crepe and drizzled with raspberry coulis.
