Northwest author and her husband, Captain Jeffrey Smith, will be giving a slideshow presentation at the North Spokane Library on Feb. 10, and at the Argonne Library on Feb. 11, both at 2 p.m. Their presentation is based on Christine’s book, “More Faster Backwards: Rebuilding David B” where she chronicles how a projected two-year boat restoration project, became an eight-year tug-of-war between time and money, as she and Jeffrey raced to finish rebuilding the David B before it was too late.
