Richard Schatz, a professor emeritus who taught economics at Whitworth from 1989-2011, has also been a Peace Corps volunteer and a development economist. He has taught at Thailand’s Thammasaat University, at the Johns Hopkins Center in China, and at the University of Malaysia, where he was a Fulbright scholar. He is also a senior research fellow at the University of Malaysia. Part of the Great Decisions 2013 lecture series.
