Third class in a series on food gardening that will explore a variety of season-extending techniques that will help Pend Oreille gardeners successfully overcome the challenges of a short growing season. Topics include tips for protecting garden crops from vertebrate pest and how to landscape your yard. Participants are encouraged to purchase a $14 book titled “Gardening in the Inland Northwest,” which will serve as the textbook for the series.
