New Belgium Beer Dinner
The Connoisseur’s Club will host its first beer dinner. Five-course beer and food pairings. First course: Beer-braised pork belly served atop braised greens with Snow Day Winter Ale. Second course: Duck Salad – fresh seasonal greens tossed with dried cherries, sliced almonds, shredded Parmesan cheese and a strawberry-rhubarb vinaigrette, topped with shredded duck breast – with Ranger IPA. Third course: Garlic and basil pesto clams in broth, finished with tomato, onion and Parmesan cheese with Lips of Faith Lost Abbey Brett Beer. Fourth course: Roasted Elk Loin Chops topped with a tomato-bacon jam and served with roasted fingerling potatoes and asparagus spears with 1554 Enlightened Black Ale. Fifth course: Orange and chocolate semifreddo stack served with salted caramel and topped with warm chocolate drizzle with Lips of Faith Bier De Garde Farmhouse Ale.
