The seven unique films come from renowned filmmakers who search backcountry corners across the globe to submit their best work, and from grassroots filmmakers who take a video camera out on their weekend excursions and submit their best film short. The entries are juried by a panel of judges and the top selections are assembled into a 90 minute program. Proceeds from this event will assist with providing funding for Selkirk Outdoor Leadership & Education (SOLE) Fieldwork Experience programming, including their Winter Wildlands Alliance SnowSchool - the nations largest on snow winter ecology program. SOLE’s aim to provide affordable and accessible outdoor education program including providing novel snow-based experiential learning opportunities for local public schools is noteworthy due to actual need. Purchase tickets locally in Sandpoint at Evans Brothers Coffee Roasters, Eichardt’s Pub, Mountain Essentials, Pedro’s and at the Ski Shack in Hayden.
