“Night on the Nile”
Shawn McWashington, a four-year letter winner at wide receiver for the Cougars 1994-97 and a member of WSU’s “Fab Five” who earned a trip to the 1998 Rose Bowl, will be the guest speaker. Two Northwest bands, Perry Acker and Ben Union, will perform. Hors d’oeuvres will be catered by restaurants from across the state. The event will help Washington State University students raise money for Egyptian orphans. Donations will help the nonprofit Wash Their Worries Away (WTWA) buy an orphanage school bus. WTWA aims to provide sustainable resources to enrich the lives of Egyptian orphans. Tickets available at CougarCard Center in the CUB or online at http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/288463
