Author Laurie Arnold
Director of Native American Initiatives at University of Notre Dame and an enrolled member of the Colville Confederated Tribes, she presents her book, “Bartering With the Bones of Their Dead,” which tells how the Colville tribe accepted an offer from the Eisenhower administration which paid the Colvilles to dissolve their sovereignty, and of the tribal renewal which followed.
