Dr. Kristin Elgersma
In 2009 she was a featured performer in the Vianden International Music Festival (Luxembourg). She has presented her award-winning lecture-recital on extended piano techniques in 20th century American repertoire across the country. Dr. Elgersma keeps a very full calendar of musical events as a teacher, professor, adjudicator, clinician and performer. She is currently Professor of Piano at the University of Idaho Lionel Hampton School of Music. The program will consist of works by Scarlatti, Brahms, George Crumb and more.
