Portland author presents two of his most recent books including “Sailing Away,” a collection of short stories, and “The Archangel’s Gift.” This endearing holiday tale features Jamie, a savvy nine-year-old who asks for a laptop but is given an early gift, a statue of an angel with its halo tilted to the side. Jamie thinks this means that her Christmas gifts will be underwear and socks, but the magic of Christmas will prove her wrong.
