The Spring program features acclaimed concert pianist Caroline Hong. The concert will open with Rossini’s “Overture to La Gazza Ladra,” followed by Rachmaninoff’s virtuosic “Third Piano Concerto,” and will conclude with Stravinsky’s spectacular “Firebird Suite.” Hong will be featured in the Rachmaninoff Concerto. Hong is active as a guest lecturer, adjudicator, and master class teacher at universities, institutions, and competitions throughout the United States, particularly in the Northeast, and in Asia. In 2005, she was appointed the first female piano faculty member for the “Piano at Peabody” program where she returns each summer.
