OPC is hosting a community concert series as part of our Second Sunday Centennial Celebrations leading up to the March 2, 2013, 100th anniversary of their ministry in Spokane Valley. The concert features a four-member band, featuring Carla Carnegie, vocals, fiddle, accordion and piano; Tom Carnegie, (her brother-in-law) vocals, guitar, banjo, penny whistle, highland pipes, and more; Kevin Jones, bass and guitar, and Taylor Belote, bodhran, djembe, and other percussive instruments. Together, they play all manner of Irish/Scottish tunes, with their own unique arrangements and instrumentation, not to leave out Old-Timey, bluegrass, swing tunes and originals, all with a Celtic flavor to them.
