“State of the Union”
A 1948 Frank Capra film starring Spencer Tracy and Katherine Hepburn. It’s the story of an industrialist who is having an affair with a newspaperwoman and who is asked to run for president. It’s filled with lots of back-room politics. The Advocates for the Bing Crosby Theater (ABCT) presents its fall film series “Best of the Political Movie Classics.”
