“Walking With Ancestors: Remembering Our Civil War Ancestors”

Open to the public. Celebrating the 150th anniversary of the Civil War. Greenwood Memorial Terrace is a final resting area for many of our Civil War Ancestors. Re-enactments of Civil War veterans will be portrayed by EWGS members and friends. Guides will take you along the pathway, and stop at the headstones, where costumed actors will tell a brief history of the resident. The day’s activities include: Life of a Civil War Soldier, Displays by local Patriotic Organizations, Demonstrations by local Genealogical Societies, and much more. Presented by Eastern Washington Genealogical Society and Greenwood Memorial Terrace.
