David Barsamian is the award-winning founder and director of Alternative Radio, an independent weekly radio program which airs in the Spokane area on KYRS. David is the author of numerous books with Noam Chomsky, Howard Zinn, and others. His articles and interviews appear in The Progessive, The Sun, and other magazines and journals. The Institute for Alternative Journalism named him one of its Top Ten Media Heroes.
