Show from Tears of Joy puppet theater. The performance is based on an old Arabian fairytale, told through beautiful puppets. Malika is a beautiful story about a kindly old woman, her stingy and unpleasant neighbor, and the magical cats that change their lives. The show is 50 minutes long and appropriate for 3-10 year olds, but it makes a great family show with lots of humor for the adults. It has an original score recorded by Al-Andalus, a band that specializes in music of the greater Mediterranean. There is also a puppet workshop with the puppeteers from the company at 4:30 p.m. prior to the 5:30 p.m. show.
