Autg. 2-26. Presents its month-long celebration in August with two plays performing in rotating repertory by one company of actors at this Blackfriars-inspired location. The first play is “Romeo and Juliet,” the nights don’t get hotter than in sizzling Verona. Passion empowers, tempers blaze, and star-crossed love conquers all. With humor, heartache, and humanity Romeo and Juliet thrills again and again.The second play is “The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged),” this zany combination of the Marx Brothers, Mel Brooks and Monty Python features three actors who portray over 100 characters as they race though all 37 of Shakespeare’s plays in less than two hours.
