July 14-21. Region-wide event involving five communities in Whitman County over eight days. July 14, kick-off dinner at Living in the Garden (reservations required). July 15, A Sunday Drive for Art, 10 a.m.-4 p.m., includes Rosalia, Colfax, Palouse and Uniontown and includes a Top Chef competition, local foods, and demonstrations by artists. July 16, 4-5:30 p.m., Coffee with the artist Pat Siler. Free coffee and cookies provided by Thomas Hammer Coffee. July 17, 5-8 p.m., tour North Grand Avenue, including special kids art activities at Palouse Discovery Science Center. July 18, 5-8 p.m., tour So Grand/Bishop Blvd. featuring nine different businesses with art receptions. July 19, 5-8 p.m., tour Palouse ArtWalk including a Floriade at Bank Left Gallery, celebrating the wonder of the garden. July 20, 5-8 p.m., tour Downtown Pullman with two dozen locations featuring art and receptions. This includes a temporary art installations at Pine Street Plaza by Scott Simonetti and an interactive 3D chalk mural “Cougar Unleashed” by Melanie Stimmell. July 21, 10 a.m.-4 p.m., Chalk It Up To The Y! kids chalk art contest in Downtown Pullman. Kids can do their own chalk art and compete for prizes.
