Retired Spokane Falls Community College German instructor reads excerpts from her second book, a young adult historical novel called “Daughters of Hope and Fear.” This work of fiction is based on the life of the young German nun Sister Bonaventura who chose to leave Nazi Germany to take up mission work in Kettle Falls in the 1930s.
