Asante Children’s Choir

June 27, 2012

June 20-July 8. Group of 24 children from Africa. Simply put, Asante means “Thank You,” and that is what they wish to say. Coming from East Africa, an area plagued by years of devastating genocide and civil war, these vibrant children have overcome some of life’s most difficult circumstances and take pride in expressing their gratitude through uplifting songs and joyous dancing. They are dedicated to spreading love, hope and joy while raising awareness for the desperate plight of orphans and other vulnerable children back at home. Their performances are the true testimonies and a living “Asante” to everyone who has invested in their lives giving them great pride and hope for a brighter future.
