“From Sea to Sea: The Panama Canal and Jungle,” a slideshow and travelogue by David Kilmer and Dave Yadon. In March 2013 the sailboat Liberte and her crew went through the incredible Panama Canal from the Pacific to the Caribbean. This program will show firsthand what it’s like to take a small boat through that big machine, teach a bit of Canal history, and describe a couple of fascinating side trips into the Panamanian jungle. The program is part of the “Novel Destinations” series sponsored by the Coeur d’Alene Public Library Foundation featuring photos from travel adventures taken by area residents. part of the “Novel
