14th Annual Battle of Deep Creek
May 26-28. Civil War Re-Enactment and Living History Encampment sponsored by Washington Civil War Association. Hours are Saturday-Sunday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. with battles at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.; and Monday, 9 a.m.-3 p.m., with a battle at 1 p.m. Purchase tickets in advance by phone, email to tickets@ewcav.org or use Paypal. Directions: Take Highway 2 past Fairchild Air Force Base, stay in right hand lane and turn right onto Deep Creek Road, two miles down on the left.
