Fisher was named the 2011 Western Music Association’s Entertainer of the Year and Female Performer of the Year. Her song, “Yakima”, which is about Whitman County-born Yakima Canutt, was designated 2011 Song of the Year. In addition, True West magazine named her the 2011/2012 “Best Solo Western Musician.” Currently living in Tennessee, Fisher performs extensively all over the country and has headlined many Western music festivals.
