Bethany Presbyterian Church
Listening to the Silenced: Stories of LGBT Spiritual Leaders are shown through “Shower of Stoles,” an exhibit of 200 liturgical stoles contributed by gay and lesbian church leaders who have been rejected by the church. There will also be presentations highlighting the contributions which LGBTQ people of faith have made to the church, and the damage they have suffered at the hands of the church, and society. The exhibit of the Stoles will be accompanied by educational workshops for clergy, teachers and youth, as well as self-identified people of faith and LGBTQ Christians.
