Leadman Triathlon

A record number of participants are expected to compete in this unique 13.4 mile triathlon. The race starts with a 50 yard sprint to your skis or board followed by a 1.2 mile high speed slide to the bike transition. Racers will then start a 7.5 mile slush and mud downhill bike ride to uptown Kellogg. From there, it’s a 4.7 mile run through Galena Ridge to the finish at the Silver Mountain parking lot. All of the spectators and participants will gather to celebrate in the village where there will be vendors, beverages, barbeque and live music from the acoustic duo of the Will West Band.
