Garden Clinics
WSU/Pend Oreille County Master Gardeners will offer free diagnosis and advice to those with home garden and landscape issues. Library locations and times include: Newport Library, every Thursday this summer from 6-8 p.m. or phone calls during these hours at (509) 447-2111; Ione Library, Tuesdays from 1-3 p.m.; and Cusick Library, second and third Tuesdays of the month from 6-8 p.m. Plant and insect samples for clinics can be dropped off at the Extension Office, 418 S. Scott in Newport, Wash., on weekdays from 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Garden questions and pictures can be emailed to cmack@wsu.edu or phoned in at (509) 447-2401.
