“Take Action Against Hate” Dinner

The Gonzaga Institute 4th annual event will honor the Kootenai County Task Force on Human Relations (KCTFHR) of Coeur d’Alene and Rev. Percy “Happy” Watkins, pastor of the New Hope Baptist Church of Spokane. All proceeds will benefit the Institute. At the dinner, the inaugural Eva Lassman Award, which is issued annually to honor an organization and an individual who has committed her or his life to challenge hate, will be presented. Doors open at 5:45 p.m. followed by dinner at 6:30 p.m. and the formal program at 7 p.m., with a theme of “Tradition and Transformation.”
