Courtney Dunham's weekly All We Never Knew freelance column and blog no longer will appear in 7 or on spokane7.com. The column and blog were dropped because of a violation of newspaper standards regarding gratuities. An inappropriate blog posting was pulled last week. The related column was not published.
An examination of Dunham's previous work revealed no other violations of newsroom standards. The newspaper prohibits staff members from accepting free goods and services in exchange for news coverage.
