In second grade Tricia Jo was escorted to the Principal’s office at Trinity Catholic School and asked to read a poem that began, “I love you God, oh yes I do. I love you God like I love shoes.” This event marked the beginning of TJ’s love affair with writing for public consumption. Although she didn’t know it at the time, it’s now clear that this poem’s opening lines illustrated a life-long penchant toward considering things – like shoes and French fries and red wine – the closest thing to heaven she’d ever experience.
This blog is a continuation of that defining moment.
Besides a brief childhood stint in the glorious berg of Butte, Montana, and a one-year adventure across the state line in Coeur d’Alene, Tricia Jo has proudly called Spokane home. For almost 40 years TJ has been eating, drinking, shopping, seeing and doing all kinds of ridiculously amazing stuff – and she’s not afraid to blog about it.
