Catching up with more news from the past week in local craft beer:

• Millwood Brewing has set an opening date of Jan. 26 at 9013 E. Frederick (the former Cunningham photo studio just west of Argonne). Hours will be 1 to 9 p.m. daily.

• River City celebrates its fifth anniversary Feb. 2 with the first of its First Friday "garage parties" in the brewery, after closing its taproom at the end of last year. Along with a new barleywine, look for vintage beers including 2014 Midnight Marmot, 2015-16 Congratulator Doppelbock and 2017 Mad Latvian Baltic Porter, plus the first in a new rotating Experience Pale series.

• English Setter is offering growler fills of regular beers for $10 every day under its new ownership, and has added several new games for customers to play including Giant Jenga. Look for its fourth anniversary party Feb. 10.

• Bellwether is brewing a house beer for the upcoming Cochinito Taqueria (from former Clover chef Travis Dickinson). The Mexican-inspired amber lager (4.7 percent ABV) is flavored with lime and brewed with locally grown and produced Palouse Pint malt.
