FRIDAY

Big Barn hosts a benefit from 2 to 8 for a young boy battling cancer, with lawn games, brats and chips for $5 and music by Karrie O'Neill at 6.  

– Olympia's Matchless Brewing makes its Spokane debut with a tasting from 4 to 7 at the South Hill Growler Guys featuring the Brett-brewed Hoppy Funky, Matchless IPA, Citra Enigma hazy IPA and Hop Nectar hazy double IPA.

– The Well-Read Moose bookstore in Coeur d'Alene presents a free taste-off of beers from Mad Bomber, Paradise Creek and Slate Creek from 5:30 to 7, with the winner going on the store's next open tap.

– An Iron Horse tap takeover from 7 to 9 at the Black Diamond will include $3.50 pints of High Five Hefe, Beer Wolf IPA, Double Rainbow India red ale and Irish Death. 

– River City's Randall for the weekend is Afternoon IPA through peaches and apricots.

– Whistle Punk has tapped a creamy, juicy new Citra IPA brewed with oats and both hop powder and pellets, as well as a crisp kolsch.

– Post Falls Brewing is pouring a new session IPA and an easy-drinking brown ale.

– The Teakettle Grapefruit IPA has returned at Badass Backyard.

SATURDAY

– The Newport Highway Growler Guys celebrates its third anniversary from noon to 8 with special beers including Sierra Nevada Beer Camp West Coast Double IPA, Dogfish Head 120 Minute IPA and Heathen's Mojito Sour, free growlers for the first 100 fills, pint specials and glass giveaways, raffles, cake and more.  

– The Coeur d'Alene Growler Guys' Battle of the Breweries from 5 to 9 will include two beers each from Mad Bomber, Paradise Creek, River City, Slate Creek and Waddell's. 

– A six-beer Paradise Creek tap takeover comes to Spokane's South Hill Grill from 5 to 8, with live music by Marco Polo Collective.

– The Lantern Tap House's Summer Series continues with HUB taster tray/pint specials and music by GrooveAcre at 9.
