Sierra Nevada is taking its Beer Camp Across America concept across the ocean.

It debuted in 2014 as a mixed 12-pack of collaborations with brewers around the country. Last year’s encore featured six beers from groups of partner breweries nationwide, including Moxee-Moron Imperial Session IPA from a Northwest team led by Yakima’s Bale Breaker.

Now comes Beer Camp Across the World, which will again involve a dozen collaborative brews: six with other U.S. breweries (including Bend hop gods Boneyard), and six with brewers from Germany, Belgium, Denmark, England, New Zealand and Japan, featuring such well-known names as Ayinger, Duvel, Fuller’s and Mikkeller.

It’s a logical step for Sierra Nevada, which has released Oktoberfest collaborations with German breweries the past two autumns.

According to a sneak preview by All About Beer magazine, the new Beer Camp lineup will include:

• Ginger Lager with Surly (Minnesota).

• Thai-Style Iced Tea with Mikkeller (Denmark).

• Raspberry Sundae with The Bruery (California).

• Dry-Hopped Berliner Weisse with Saint Arnold (Texas).

• Dunkel Weisse with Ayinger (Germany).

• Hoppy Belgian-Style Golden Ale with Duvel (Belgium).

• Atlantic Vintage Ale with Fuller’s (England).

• White IPA with Kiuchi (Japan).

• East Meets West IPA with Tree House (Massachusetts).

• West Coast Double IPA with Boneyard (Oregon).

• A smoked Campout Porter with Garage Project (New Zealand).

• Dry-Hopped Barleywine with Avery (Colorado).

Look for this year’s variety pack in June, at a suggested retail of $25. As usual, a series of festivals showcasing the beers will take place across the U.S. this summer.
