UPDATES WEDNESDAY 6/8

– The Coeur d'Alene Growler Guys features Firestone Walker for a tasting Friday from 4 to 7 including Pivo Pilsner, DBA English-style pale, Luponic Distortion IPA, Wookey Jack black and the barrel-aged §ucaba barleywine.

– Pyramid will be in the house for a tasting at the North Spokane Growler Guys on Friday from 5 to 8, featuring five gallons of the limited-release H7 imperial IPA.

– Daft Badger's Summer Party on Saturday from 11 to 8 will include the debut of Badgers Bounty IPA in 22-ounce bottles (and half-price Summer's Envy bottles while they last), plus food specials, raffles, prizes and music by Nu Jack City and the Les Moore Duo; ride your bike and get your first drink free.

– Big Barn, No-Li, Orlison and Wallace will be among the 100-plus regional brewers pouring at Sierra Nevada's Beer Camp Across America festival Saturday in Seattle.

 

UPDATES TUESDAY 6/7

– Orlison is releasing its first large-batch ale, Shin Splints IPA, in cans, with six-packs and cases available in the tasting room starting today.

– Daft Badger is offering the first drink free on Friday for teachers, administrators and other school employees.

– The Lantern launches its summer concert series Saturday with Deschutes beer specials and music at 9 by the Josh Clauson Trio.

 

A look at the upcoming week in local craft beer:

MONDAY

– No-Li's LocALE Monday neighborhood pint glass series continues with a souvenir Downtown glass available each Monday this month from 5 to 8 p.m. for $5, or free with a purchase of Big Juicy IPA.

– G-String Blonde is this week's featured beer at Twelve String, with $1 off pints and growler fills.

FRIDAY

 

– The Fizzics portable draft beer system will be showcased at the Valley Total Wine from 5 to 7.

SATURDAY

– The fourth annual Hayden Bicycle Pub Crawl starts at Capone's at 1 p.m. and proceeds to The Porch and Daanen's Delicatessen before finishing up at Mad Bomber; for more info call (208) 755-4356.

– North Idaho's IDHOPS homebrew club celebrates its 10th anniversary at Mad Bomber from 4 to 8, featuring the release of an Oktoberfest-style OctoAle brewed by club members on the Bomber's system; sales benefit local veterans' organization Newby Ginnings.

– The Coeur d'Alene Casino kicks off its monthly summer Music, Micros and BBQ series with an all-you-can eat dinner from 5 to 9 accompanied by North Idaho craft beers, followed by music by Current Flow from 7 to 10.
