– Orlison has closed its taproom today because of the windstorm and has rescheduled its Community Pint Night for next Tuesday.

– Twelve String will release its seasonal 12 Strings of Winter, loaded with spicy, piney Chinook hops, on Wednesday with $12 growler fills all day. 

– Wednesday's weekly small-batch releases include a Liquid Sunshine brewed with honey, orange and a touch of cinnamon at Daft Badger, and a Punk You Up pumpkin beer at Slate Creek.

– The week's new small-batch beers at Bellwether are a Wind on Sea spruced Scotch ale (on now), and a hopless Holiday Gruit with mugwort, heather, cinnamon, coffee and cocoa (coming Thursday). 

 

A look at the upcoming week in local craft beer:

– Five beers from Waddell's – Punxsutawney Pilsner, Fireman's Amber, Timber Scotch Ale, Smoky Bear Porter and Shattered Glass Imperial IPA – will be featured in a free tasting Wednesday starting at 3:30 p.m. at Pilgrim's in Coeur d'Alene.

– A dozen new breweries on the next Inland Northwest Ale Trail map – locals 238, Badass Backyard, Bellwether, Bennidito's, Downdraft, English Setter and New Boundary, plus Yakima's Bale Breaker, Kennewick's Ice Harbor, Ellensburg's Iron Horse and Moses Lake's St. Brigid's and Ten Pin – will pour at Yelp's Beertopia event Wednesday from 6 to 9 at the Black Diamond in Spokane Valley (reservations requested through Yelp).

– Two Bay Area breweries, Almanac and Heretic, will be showcased in a tap takeover Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Crafted in Coeur d'Alene.

– MickDuff's limited-edition Goat Hop pale returns for a Friends of Scotchman Peaks Wilderness fundraiser Thursday at 5 p.m. at the Beer Hall in Sandpoint. 

– Coeur d'Alene's new Growler Guys has its grand opening Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m., with 1,500 glass growlers to be given away along with fills.

– Twenty-three breweries, cideries and a meadery will offer their wares at the PowderKeg festival, Friday from 4 to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Spokane Convention Center as part of the Snowlander Expo. Ticket packages range from $15 to $25 (plus $8 Expo admission).

– No-Li beers will be available in pint and taster tray specials at The Lantern Tap House's Flannel Fest on Friday and Saturday, which also will feature live music both nights and a beard contest Saturday. 

– Inland Northwest Girls Pint Out will meet for some painting and drinking Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Paint & Pints in downtown Spokane; cost is $35 (discount code available).

– Green Bluff's 238 Brewing will open Saturday and Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. for the pre-selection of Christmas trees from the farm (to be cut at a later date).
