Portland is even more awash in beer than usual this week with the national Craft Brewers Conference in full swing, and Spokane breweries are being featured in some of the many events.

No-Li is one of six Washington breweries being highlighted at the Washington Beer Commission hospitality suite this afternoon, along with Bale Breaker, Black Raven, Fremont, Georgetown and Hale’s.

A special version of the Rise & Grind stout infused with vanilla and chocolate is among the offerings this evening at an event put on by its Oregon distributor at Henry’s Tavern (located in the former Blitz-Weinhard brewery).

No-Li also is part of a tap takeover, along with Base Camp, Fort George and Payette, on Friday at C Bar. And six No-Li beers are being poured all week at Hawthorne Hophouse, including a barrel-aged Spin Cycle paired with whiskey on Thursday.

Iron Goat is taking part in three events, two involving its collaboration with Portland’s Breakside Brewing: Nice Pear, a Belgian golden ale made with lemon peel and aged in gin barrels over pears.

That’s among several Breakside and Stone collaborations on tap Thursday night at the White Owl Social Club. It’s also one of the Breakside collabs being paired with special sandwiches on Friday at Lardo, where Head Butt IPA also will be poured.

The Goat’s recent small-batch IPA with fruity Azacca and Jarrylo hops is among the beers from breweries around the country featured in an Experimental Hops Beer Tasting on Friday sponsored by the American Dwarf Hop Association.
