Spokane Restaurant Week runs through March 3

Tricia Jo Webster

This weekend I slapped down $18 and got four delicious Safari Room courses in return.

  • A glass of wine
  • A Caesar salad
  • Some sory of lemony chicken with veggies
  • Creme brulee

Thank you, Spokane Restaurant Week!

What's Spokane Restaurant Week? I borrowed this little blurb from their website:

Restaurant week gives you the perfect excuse to get out and let someone else do the cooking. And, why not? Spokane has the innovative chefs, great restaurants, imaginative menus and super deals that'll tempt you to try something new… more than once!

Here's the scoop. Each participating restaurant has arranged a prix fixe menu for either $18 or $28. The menus feature a minimum of three courses with different options for each course. Choose an appetizer, entrée and dessert and enjoy a multi-course meal for a really affordable price!

Each of the restaurants participating in this tasty celebration of all things scrumptious in Spokane have a special menu for the occasion (all the menus are listed on the website, but here's the thing … the main course I had at the Safari Room isn't listed as an option on the website menu and neither was the wine, so I'm thinking you might enjoy a surprise choice or two at other locations as well). You can also search the Restaurant Week website by cuisine, location or restaurant name. Easy. Full of flavor. Fantastic.
