And George Clooney takes the stage to intro even another three Best Picture nominees. Kidding, kidding. No, he intros the section that features the Hollywood types who have died over the past year. All set to the music, I think, that came from "Out of Africa" (thank you, John Barry).

Which, of course, sets us up for Barbra Streisand, who gives a special tribute to Marvin Hamlisch.
