I've told the Webmasters who oversee this blog that they should add a Travel & Leisure section. It would be a lot more accurate for the posts I've been making lately than anything more specific, such as Outdoors & Recreation or Visual Arts or even Arts & Culture - though, to a certain extent, all apply.
Thus, the photo accompanying this post. It's of Rio de Janeiro from the top of Sugarloaf Mountain, one of the city's most scenic sites. Thing is, most shots you see are OF the mountain. We took a cable car (actually two cable cars) and took photos FROM the mountain.
This came after we shared a Brahma beer at the top, which my friend Buck Sterling suggested that we do. And what they say is true: Everything goes better with a Brahma.
At least I think they say that. If not, they should.
